Cheryl Cole the Catwoman

Since writing about all this Cat business the most common synchronicity which has consistently grabbed my attention has arrived in the form of the Leopard Spots. I've found them scattered all over my home: in the insoles of my daughters trainers, a silk scarf I found lying about, and even a Leopard Spotted powder puff which I found sitting beside a make-up kit.

Two days ago I was looking over my partners shoulder as she browsed the web for a brides maids dress when all of a sudden Internet Explorer decided to crash. Thanks to this unexpected glitch, the photo of a model wearing a Leopard Skin jacket was frozen on the monitor!

This Sunday afternoon I was inspired to write this off-the-cuff post after an interesting sync involving the UK Pop Princess known as Cheryl Cole:

For anyone outside of the UK who hasn't heard of Cheryl Cole then here's a little background info. Cheryl is one of judges for the TV show X-Factor, shes been singing for the Pop band 'Girls Aloud' since 2002, and as a member of the girl group she recently signed a deal to front a promotional campaign for a new low-calorie KitKat bar:

Cheryl Cole seems to resonate with the Katwoman, so if we look at her relationship with hubby Ashley Cole we'll find that he seems to be a perfect match for her:

Ashley Cole is a professional footballer who plays for the England International team, seen here sporting the 3 Lions of the England insignia on his chest:

Ashley Cole has further connections with the Lion when we consider that he also plays club football for the English team 'Chelsea'. The Chelsea insignia features a Blue Lion:

We therefore have Cheryl (a Catwoman) married to Ashley Cole (a Lionman).

He wears football boots while she prefers these:

The plot thickened as I sat down to watch an exclusive Channel 4 interview with Cheryl Cole earlier on this Sunday afternoon.

The interview focused on the realse of Cheryl's debut solo album called 'Three Words', and in particular it explored her new single called 'Fight For This Love':

The first thing that grabbed my attention in the music video were her
Leopard Spotted legs:

Another Cat connection came via this Tiger Hoody:

This next one was purr-fect. Having already seen Cheryl Cole entraining with the Leopard Spots/Tiger Stripes, these next images showed the Train Tracks merging with her body:

In one of my older posts Keeping Track of the Cat I looked at a variety of synchronicities which linked the Train Tracks with the Cat.

One example involved this painting of the 'Leopard Man' standing above the Train Tracks:

Another example connected the letters 'CAT' with the symbolic 'Train Track' which is found within the DNA helix:

In this FHM photoshoot we find Cheryl Cole posing beside a sign (to her right) displaying the letters 'DNA':

Also note that below the DNA we find a reference to ELVIS, a 'Tigerman' who once wore his famous 'Wild Tiger' jumpsuit:

In this alternate version of the FHM photo shoot we find Cheryl Cole, the Tiger/Leopard/Cat-woman, sitting in front of a Mirror (or 'Magic Mirror'):

Cat's-Eye of the Hubble Bubble

In the last post I took a look inside the Black Heart of Tezcatlipoca, an ancient Aztec Creator God who entrains with the Galactic Centre (GC), the Black Star, or Black Hole, located at the centre of our galaxy. As a 'smoking' shape-shifting sorceror he favored the form of the Jaguar above all others:

There's a number of layers to Tezcatlipoca that I find fascinating, and hope to explore in future posts, but the one I want to focus on in this post is his magical "Smoking Mirror".

Here we see Tezcatlipoca wearing the Smoking Mirror on the crown of his head, in the centre of his chest and on the foot of his Peg Leg:

Notice ^ that a Red-C (or Magnet looking thing) hangs from his wrist. For more on this check out the UNISOURCE over at Centre Portal for Jims recent musings on this very subject.

Here's a great piece of fan art which shows Tezcatlipoca and his obsidian Mirror, the very Source, or Heart, of the Jaguars powerful Magic:

One of most famous enchanted Mirrors can be found in the story of Snow White. The Mirror which belonged to the wicked Witch gave her access to the deepest darkest secrets of the Universe. All-Seeing and All-Knowing, the Smoking Mirror can help reveal All.

So do Magic Mirrors actually exist?

The logical answer would be a resounding 'no'. Magic doesn't exist. Everyone's knows that. However, while mulling over a recent bout of synchronicities involving Tezcatlipoca and his Magical Smoking Mirror, I figured that these enchanted items aren't just found within ancient Aztec mythology or Walt Disney fantasies. It all depends on your outlook.

If you think about it, we've reached a point in our evolution where we're now capable of conjuring up amazing technological wonders. Consciousness has evolved to the point where we've become capable of exploring new levels of existence, from infinitesimal quantum Strings and Strands, right out to the furthest regions of deep space.

Technology is constantly being refined, getting smaller, faster, smarter, more efficient. If our technology is a reflection of our current level of Consciousness, which I believe to be the case, then behind the scenes Consciousness must be moving along at break neck speeds. Over the last couple of decades our relationship with inner and outer-space has become much more intimate and I believe that it's our modern day Magic Mirrors which are helping to peel back some of the hidden layers of reality. Technology is helping to reveal some of the secrets of our Universe and in the process we're all becoming more Conscious of Consciousness itself.

So how does Tezcatlipoca's Smoking Mirror figure into all this? Well I propose that one form of the magical 'Smoking Mirror' does exist in our prsent day and age, thanks to the Hubble Telescope. I'll try to explain as best I can...

The Hubble Telescope has used two of these giant hyperbolic Mirrors ^ to help radically alter our perception of the cosmos. Until recently most astronomers considered the universe to be about 3600 light years in extent, less than a billion years old, with our solar system located near its centre. Thanks to the Hubble Telescope astronomers have now seen objects 13 billion light years away in a universe 13.7 billion years old, containing hundreds of billions of galaxies.

The scientists original estimates were quite a long way off the mark. Until we evolved to our current level of Consciousness we were blind to the full extent of the Universe, underestimating the sheer size of MoM and PoP. Before we could appreciate them in all their splendour we had to progress to the point where we could finally build, or manifest, a new age version of Tezcatlipoca's Smoking Mirror, a source of modern-day Magic.

In this image we see the Mirror floating in space as a dark plume of cosmic Smoke rises out of the name HUBBLE.

Edwin Powell Hubble (1889-1953), the American astronomer whose Telescope helped decipher the vast and complex nature of the universe, resonates on some level with Tezcatlipoca because he seems to have been a big fan of Mirrors, Cats, and Smoking:

Combine these three elements and we have a subtle connection to Tezcatlipoca, the Black Jaguar/Cat whose obsidian Mirror was known as Itlachiayauque - "Place from which He Watches". Sounds like an appropriate title for Edwin Hubble's Telescope.

Let's look at another example of how the Hubble Telescope is a 'Smoking Mirror'.

Hubble has helped fill in a few of the blanks surrounding the Big Bang, and I found it particularly amusing to find that the Hubble Bubbly, a device used to inhale Smoke, was also connected to the Big Bang, or Big Bong:

I came across yet another subtle connection between the Hubble Telescope and Tezcatlipoca's Smoking Mirror thanks to William Shakespeare's Macbeth.

You might have heard of the saying: 'Hubble, Bubble, Toil & Trouble'

This famous line is spoken during a scene involving Macbeth, Three Witches and a Smoking Cauldron. The Cauldron resonates in a number of ways with Tezcatlipoca's Mirror because both are enchanted objects used for divination and Magic, both have strong resonance with the Black Cat, and both of them emit Smoke:

'Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble' is actually a misquote from Shakespeare's Macbeth. The original words were 'Double, double toil and trouble' and this is how the scene plays out:

Act 4 scene 1: Thunder. Enter the three Witches.

1 WITCH
Thrice the brinded cat hath mewed.

2 WITCH
Thrice, and once the hedge-pig whined.

3 WITCH
Harpier cries! 'Tis time, 'tis time!

1 WITCH
Round about the cauldron go;
In the poisoned entrails throw:
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights has thirty-one.
Sweltered venom, sleeping got,
Boil thou first i'the charmèd pot.

ALL
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

Having looked at the resonance between the Smoking Mirror and the Smoking Cauldron , let's look at another example of a modern-day magical device. Hubble has taken us way out to the Macrocosm and in our very near future it'll be time to get up close and personal with the deepest regions of the Microcosm. To achieve this task our Collective Consciousness has manifested the Large Hadron Collidor:

Try this out for size:

Take the word Hadron and Collidor, and then reverse them (giving you Collidor Hadron), and then combine the two words, you arrive at the word Colldron, or Cauldron. Yes?

The Large Hadron Collidor could, from a slightly distorted synchromystic perspective, be considered to be a Large Cauldron.

We find that the Large 'Hadron' Cauldron is connected to the Cat/Jaguar thanks to a statue of Shiva, a gift from the Indian government, which stands outside the very same CERN building which houses the Large Hadron Collidor.

Shiva, the Destroyer of Illusion, seems to be overseeing the bubbling Cauldron of subatomic particles, dancing inside the CERN compound as we transition into higher, yet deeper, levels of Consciousness.

Shiva is often found sitting upon the skin of a Tiger while wearing the spots of the Jaguar/Cheetah. Shiva, like Tezcatlipoca, could be considered to be an ancient Creator God with a strong affinity with the Cat.

While looking into the Large Hadron Cauldron this image reminded me of a Yellow Cats-Eye:

This movie poster shows that the Yellow Eye helps to tear open Doorways into alternate dimensions. It helps to reveal things which were once hidden.

The Three Black Cats ^ bring to mind the Trinity of Witches (from Macbeth) who enjoy a good 'Hubble, Bubble' around their 'Large Cauldron'.

On the front of this comic we see that the Cat is a guardian of the Doorway (symbolized in the poster above by the rip/tear):

So what lies beyond the 'Doorway of the Cat'?

K is for Kat
K is for Knowledge

The Cat's Eye, like the Smoking Mirror of Tezcatlipoca, or the witches Magic Cauldron, grant us with the gift of Knowledge. We ask the questions, and then wait to receive the answer.

I found another stunning example of the blue 'Cats-Eye' (seen above) in the the form of the 'Cat's-Eye Nebula which was captured by the Smoking lense of the Hubble Telescope:

The Cat's Eye is found at the Heart, or Source, of Spirit/Consciousness which can only be accessed via the infinite, ever-evolving moment of the NOW.

For more on the Cat's-Eye check out the SpiriT.

I'm off to reflect on things.

The Black Heart of TezCATlipoca

Tezcatlipoca, Jaguar God of the Smoking Mirror:

In my last post I looked at the relationship between the Cat and the Train Tracks and having followed this fresh trail of synchronicities I've been lead to an ancient Mayan Jaguar God who goes by the name of Tezcatlipoca.

Tezcatlipoca, "Smoking Mirror", is an Aztec god associated with black magic, obsidian, and the jaguar. Various sources connect this Black God with the nocturnal sky, the subconscious mind, the ancestral memory and Time.

Like Loki from the Norse legends, or the Egyptian Set, Tezcatlipoca was a trickster god who delighted in overturning the order of things. As an instigator of chaos and a master of disruption he could be both helpful and destructive. On one hand he would ripen the crops and on the other he would annihilate them with a burning drought. Sometimes the conflicts he brought to the world were actually sources of creative energy and positive change. He appeared most frequently as a magician, a smoking shape-shifter and a Jaguar God endowed with mysterious powers.

According to the Aztec creation story Tezcatlipoca turned himself into the sun. His twin Quetzalcoatl couldn’t bear the thought of his brother ruling the universe so he knocked him out of the sky and into the darkness of the ocean.

Having been removed from the sky by his nemesis, Tezcatlipoca transformed himself into a Jaguar before destroying the world. Quetzalcoatl re-created and re-populated Earth, taking his place as ruler of the second world, only for Tezcatlipoca to rise against him and send a great wind which devastated the population. You can see that these guys had issues with one another - Yin and Yang don't often see eye to eye.

Here we see the Black Tezcatlipoca facing off against the White Quetzalcoatl (a Plumed Serpent/Dragon) on page 3 of the Codex Borbonicus:

According to another Aztec myth, before the creation of the world, there was only the sea and the Earth Monster, Cipactli, who took the form of a crocodile. Tezcatlipoca tempted Cipactli to the surface of the ocean using his foot as bait. The Earth Monster rose to the surface and devoured Tezcatlipoca's foot but during the struggle she lost her lower jaw and was left too weak to return underwater. Tezcatlipoca and the god Quetzalcoatl joined forces to capture her and created the earth from her carcass and formed the tribes of men from her back.

Tezcatlipoca lost one of his limbs during his encounter with the Earth Monster and in this image we find him walking on water as Cipactli swims away with his Leg:

In Keeping track of the Cat I looked at a number of synchronicities involving the Cat and Train Tracks. Notice in the image above that the Jaguar/Cat God Tezcatlipoca stands above what could be interpreted as a set of underwater Train Tracks.

In the last post this example of the 'Cat on the Train Track' pointed us down to the level of our DNA:

If we zoom out to see what role the Cat has to play in the bigger picture we'll find that the feline has more than a few things in common with the centre of our own Galaxy. Believe it or not but the decapitated Peg Leg of Tezcatlipoca is going to help bridge this gap between micro and macro.

Jim Sanders and Jake Kotze have done a lot of research into the WinniPEG LEGislature Building (or 'Peg Leg' Building) and they've shown on numerous occasions that this particular piece of architecture resonates on a number of levels with the Galactic Centre, the Black Hole located in the Heart of the Milky Way.

If you're new to this then check out Jakes Galactic Centre Temple or Strange Things Afoot at the Circle-M to find out why the 'Peg Leg' Building, a masonic model of King Solomon's Temple, is an Earthly resonator for the heavenly marker known as the Galactic Center (GC), or check out Jims Temple of Juno post to find out why the Goddess of Jupiter entrains with this sync-tacular piece of architecture.

In this image we see that the mathematical Blueprint of Life, known as the Pi Ratio or Golden Spiral, is incorporated into the 'Peg Legs' design:

For more on the Peg Leg connection you might want to Peg Leg(o) my Ego.

Jim took a video of the Ashanincan shaman Maestro Juan Flores who recently visited Winnipeg. Here we see the Maestro standing in the centre of the Pool of the Black Star, located at the very centre of the WinniPeg Legislature Building, as he chants an icaro to an audience gathered around him in a circle. You can watch the Maestro Sending Light to the World by following the link.

Jake Kotze describes this Black Star ^ as the 'Heart of the Heart', the most central element of the Earthly marker of Galactic Centre. If we turn our attention back to Tezcatlipoca we can see that his 'Peg Leg' resonates with the Manitoba 'Peg Leg' Building and therefore the Black Star located within it.

From the synchromystic perspective Tezcatlipoca is an Aztec God who has a Black Star, or Black Whole, in his Heart.

The Cat/Jaguar lead me to the DNA Blueprint found within all life, but also lead me to the centre of our Milky Way - the micro and macro united via the furry feline.

The next lead came via this brilliant animation which shows the birth of the majestic TezCATlipoca:

In the video we see Tezcatlipoca climb his way to the peak of the mountain/pyramid as he merges with the Black Sun:

The Black Sun is of course a Black Star, like the one found in the Heart of the WinniPeg Leg:

In the video we see that the Jaguar God is depicted in the form of a Black and White Leopard:

Shortly after watching the above video I read about the Friday August 28th release of Apples new operating system entitled Snow Leopard. The Leopard/Jaguar God Tezcatlipoca naturally sprung to mind.

Thanks to Apples timely release of Snow Leopard I was once again pointed in the direction of the Galactic Centre (GC).

X always seems to mark the spot:

We can see from the names of the previous releases that Apple has a curious affinity with the Cat:

Let's follow the trail of the Cat and the Apple to see where it takes us:

The movie Twilight seems to have sparked something off in the fertile imaginations of the young, quickly becoming one of the hottest franchises in Hollywood. One of the key images used in nearly all of the Twilight advertising is the Red Apple:

If we look at the one of the final scenes in the movie we find Edward (Adam) and Bella (Eve) coming together on the centre of a dance floor which features the 8-pointed Black Star, a pointer to the GC:

If we zoom in close to the Black Star we see that Bella has a black plaster cast covering her right Leg. If memory serves correctly her Leg has actually been broken, thus giving us a reference to Tezcatlipoca's broken/dismembered 'Peg Leg':

It kind of makes sense then to find two of the Vampires wearing the letters G and C (GC = Galactic Centre) on the front of their baseball caps:

If we leave the movie Twilight and follow the letters GC to the movie call the (GC) Golden Compass we find the Snow Leopard, Tezcatlipoca, wrapped around the Leg:

It's no surprise then to find that the Red Apple is one of the symbols found inside the (GC) Golden Compass:

So we've seen the smoking shape-shifting Tezcatlipoca making his presence known in modern Holywood movies, but if we now turn to an old Disney classic whose plot revolves around an enchanted Red Apple, we should find some more references to the Black Heart, or Black Hole, located at the centre of our Galaxy:

Tezcatlipoca's name in the Nahuatl language is often translated as "Smoking Mirror" and alludes to his connection to obsidian (black volcanic glass), the material from which mirrors were made in Mesoamerica and which were often used for shamanic rituals. Tezcatlipoca is represented in Mayan art with a black obsidian mirror called Itlachiayauque - "Place from which He Watches".

The Magical Smoking Mirror plays a prominent role in the mythology of Tezcatlipoca, who we've seen in the form of the Snow Leopard, and in the movie Snow White we find another Magical Smoking Mirror which happens to be a source of cosmic wisdom. Notice that the 12 zodiac constellations surround Heart of this Black Hole:

The Smoking Mirror of Tezcatlipoca points us once again to the centre of our Milky Way, and the pair of entwined DNA Serpents ^ remind us that this Black Heart, the portal which 'beats' all Life into existence, is also located within our own genetic Blue-print. Tezcatlipoca can be found Within and Without.

As Above, So Below.

The obsidian Smoking Mirror (GC) was often positioned on the centre of Tezcatlipoca's chest (the area of the Heart) or on the end of his decapitated Peg Leg (also GC):

We could therefore say that our Galactic Centre is the place where the Sole/Soul rests.

Time for me to take a break.

More on the Black Tezcatlipoca coming soon.

Thanks for reading!
